Would've been better if the subtitles weren't just the english dub so that I wasn't hearing one thing and seeing another more often than not...but I can't fault the show for that.

welp not much to do about it. It was kinda bugging me as well but since i learned quite a bit japanese by now i knew what they were saying.

Same, the problem is my eyes naturally gravitate towards subtitles, especially in a series like this with a lot of technical terms I'm not familiar with the translations of so even when I try to ignore the subtitles, I still end up glancing at them often enough that it becomes a slight annoyance lol

Yeah, that i understand. I am often fixated on the subs myself and i get that about technical terms, those are usually unknown but I can't list 1 show right now that i have seen some wrong technical term subtitle in.
